HFCL's Strategic Expansion: A Bright Future Ahead
HFCL's share price rebounded on July 14 after the company announced a significant investment of ₹125 crore to expand its IBR cable manufacturing capacity. This move aims to diversify its optical fiber product range and meet the rising global demand, particularly from North America and Europe. The expansion will increase production capacity from 1.73 million to 19.01 million fiber kilometers annually at facilities in Hyderabad and Goa. While this project is set to be operational by mid-2026, another planned expansion in Jammu & Kashmir is on hold due to regional security concerns.
