Monsoon Tracker - Find our which states are affected

As per meteorology experts, several states including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala may face rain deficiency in the coming weeks. The rainfall pattern across India has been uneven, with northern and north-western states receiving excessive rains, while southern and eastern regions experiencing unusually dry conditions.

About one-third of the country has received average rainfall, with 34% facing deficient rains and 32% experiencing excessive rainfall. Concerns arise about the potential impact of El Nino in the coming months. Heavy rains have damaged newly planted rice crops in some northern states, while scant rainfall has delayed planting in other regions.
