Nikhil Kamath Backs Cafe Amudham: A Culinary Venture

Nikhil Kamath, the billionaire co-founder of Zerodha, has invested in Cafe Amudham, a South Indian eatery chain in Bengaluru and Delhi. Reports suggest his investment lies between ₹4-5 crore, though the exact figure is not confirmed. Established in 2022, Cafe Amudham has quickly expanded to eight outlets, positioning itself as a competitor to the renowned Rameshwaram Cafe. Unlike Rameshwaram, which has a traditional approach, Cafe Amudham aims for rapid growth like modern quick-service restaurants. Kamath has a history of investing in food brands, including Subko Coffee Roaster and Licious.
