Reliance Industries (RIL) has approved a 1:1 bonus issue, granting shareholders one free share for every share they hold.
This announcement, made on September 5, 2024, is RIL's first bonus issue since 2017 and the fifth in the company's history. The record date for this bonus will be announced later. Additionally, RIL's board approved increasing the authorized share capital from Rs 15,000 crore to Rs 50,000 crore.
