The company, which operates just two Yamaha showrooms with 8 employees, initially sought ₹12 crore but received an astonishing ₹2,700 crore in bids. The retail segment alone saw a 496x subscription, reflecting intense investor interest. Despite a negative cash flow of ₹19.33 lakh and a high grey market premium of up to 73%, the IPO's success raises questions about whether the hype is driven by genuine value or speculation.
