Woman Throws Away Ex-Boyfriend's Rs 5,900 Crore Bitcoin by Mistake

Halfina Eddy-Evans admitted throwing away a hard drive holding 8,000 Bitcoins, worth Rs 5,900 crore, during a cleanup for her ex-boyfriend, James Howells, nearly a decade ago. The hard drive, now buried under 100,000 tonnes of waste in Newport, Wales, contains the key to his massive cryptocurrency fortune. Howells is suing Newport City Council for Rs 4,900 crore, accusing them of denying excavation over environmental concerns. The council insists digging is prohibited under permits. Howells promises to donate 10% to transform Newport if the fortune is recovered.
