Air India has begun constructing a new facility in Bengaluru with an initial investment of ₹1,400 crore.
This significant project aims to boost the city's aviation infrastructure and is expected to create 1,200 jobs directly. Economic studies show that each job generated at the airport could lead to seven additional jobs elsewhere, amplifying the project's impact. The facility is anticipated to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the local economy by providing numerous ancillary employment opportunities.
