Foreign Investors Invest ₹378 Crore in Indian Equities in November

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) reversed their selling trend, making a net investment of ₹378 crore in Indian equities in November. This shift follows significant outflows of ₹24,548 crore in October and ₹14,767 crore in September.

Despite the recent downturn, FPIs had brought in ₹1.74 lakh crore from March to August. The cumulative trend for 2023 remains positive, with FPIs injecting ₹96,340 crore this year.

Improving risk appetite in emerging markets and falling US risk-free yields are expected to attract more FPI flows into India, experts suggest.
