The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 saw a 28% increase in average ad volume and a rise in advertiser count to over 80, up from 65 in 2019, according to a TAM report. The number of advertising categories grew by 30%, reaching over 80. Leading categories included Perfumes/Deodorants, Cars, E-com Gaming, Aerated Soft Drinks, and Ecom-Wallets. Top advertisers were Vini Product, Mahindra and Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, Coca Cola India, and FX Mart. Notably, more than 40 new categories and 150 brands joined the advertising roster compared to the 2019 World Cup.
