Drinking warm water, consuming freshly cooked meals, applying a hot compress to the abdomen, and consciously slowing down can effectively communicate safety to the nervous system.

Moreover, Ayurvedic wisdom teaches that menstrual health is closely linked to gut health. A weak digestive fire, or Agni, can lead to symptoms like sharper cramps, irregular flow, and fatigue. Therefore, establishing small digestive rituals—such as eating at consistent times and opting for fresh, light foods—can help maintain internal balance during the menstrual cycle.
