ISRO's EOS-09 Satellite Launch Hits a Snag
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) faced a setback during the launch of the EOS-09 satellite on May 18. Although the first two stages of the PSLV-C61 vehicle functioned as expected, a problem arose in the third stage, leading to the mission's failure. ISRO Chief V Narayanan confirmed that scientists are currently analyzing the performance to understand what went wrong. The EOS-09 satellite, designed for Earth observation with advanced radar technology, is intended to provide critical data for various sectors. This mission marked ISRO's 101st launch and aimed to promote responsible space operations.
