Major Economies Boost Trade Ties with India
Three major economies—the United States, European Union, and United Kingdom—are working to create a reliable supply chain in India as part of trade agreements. India is seen as a cost-effective option with skilled labor and resources, attracting multinational companies to establish manufacturing bases. Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is currently on a visit to strengthen trade ties, with talks focused on Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). Recent discussions highlight India's potential as a hub for active pharmaceutical ingredients and innovations in the semiconductor industry. Negotiations on these agreements are progressing well, with expectations to finalize them by the end of the year.
