Dhurandhar 2, starring the charismatic Ranveer Singh, has taken the Indian box office by storm, crossing an impressive ₹620 crore within just seven days of its release. The film, a spy thriller directed by Aditya Dhar, opened with record-breaking numbers, thanks to its paid previews.

During its four-day opening weekend, Dhurandhar 2 raked in ₹454 crore net domestically, with three days surpassing the ₹100 crore mark. Even after the weekend, the film maintained strong momentum, witnessing only a 43% drop on Monday and netting ₹65 crore.

On Tuesday, the film added another ₹56 crore, bringing its domestic total to ₹575 crore. Despite having the lowest footfall during morning shows on its seventh day, it still managed to surpass the ₹600 crore mark by afternoon.

Dhurandhar 2 has not only outperformed Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, and Ranbir Kapoor's Animal in its first week but has also beaten the lifetime collections of these major hits. It surpassed Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which collected ₹601 crore, and is set to overtake the horror-comedy Stree 2, which stands at ₹627 crore, by Thursday morning.

The film features an impressive cast, including R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun, alongside Ranveer Singh. The first installment of Dhurandhar had already earned a staggering ₹1300 crore worldwide and continues to attract audiences even three months after its December release.

As anticipation builds, many trade experts are betting on Dhurandhar 2 to potentially break Dangal's all-time box office record of ₹2070 crore. With its thrilling storyline and stellar performances, this sequel is poised for even greater success and is already a hot topic among moviegoers across India.
