Dhurandhar Box Office: ₹555 Crore and Counting!
Dhurandhar is making waves at the box office, achieving an impressive milestone as it closes its third weekend. The film has earned nearly ₹100 crore net in India just from Friday to Sunday. This remarkable feat is yet another record for a Hindi film, as Ranveer Singh’s star power continues to shine. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, is not only entertaining audiences but also setting new benchmarks in box office collections.
As of now, Dhurandhar has garnered a total of ₹555.72 crore net in just 17 days. The film's earnings included a robust performance on its third Saturday, with a staggering 52% increase in collections over Friday, pulling in ₹34.50 crore. The excitement carried into Sunday, with the film reporting a remarkable 45% occupancy in the morning shows and a whopping 78% in the afternoon. This surge indicates a strong audience turnout and enthusiasm for the film.
On Sunday, Dhurandhar collected ₹38.5 crore net, pushing its domestic total to ₹555.72 crore. This collection has allowed the film to surpass the lifetime earnings of several blockbuster hits, including Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which earned ₹525 crore, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which made ₹543 crore. Notably, it has also outperformed Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which collected ₹553 crore, all without the advantage of a dubbed version.
With such a tremendous momentum, Dhurandhar is poised to cross the ₹600 crore mark in the upcoming week. This could set the stage for a battle against the all-time Bollywood collection record held by Jawan, which stands at ₹640 crore. Fans are eager to see if Dhurandhar can reach that monumental figure.
The film stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian operative on a mission to infiltrate the gang and terror networks of Karachi. The thrilling narrative, combined with a talented cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan, contributes to its widespread popularity. With a sequel already announced for March 2026, the excitement surrounding Dhurandhar is far from over.
