Hrithik Roshan's Unique Real Estate Move

02 Sep, 2025

Hrithik Roshan has recently stirred excitement in Mumbai's real estate market by leasing a luxury apartment in Juhu to his girlfriend, Saba Azad, for just ₹75,000 a month. This surprising arrangement has raised eyebrows, especially considering the stark contrast to the current rental rates in the area. With a substantial deposit of ₹1.25 lakh, the deal seems to lean more towards personal connections than financial investments.

Hrithik, who owns three full floors in the prestigious Mannat Apartments (Vartamaan), signed this lease on August 4, 2023. The market is buzzing with comparisons, as a similar flat in the same building was recently leased for a whopping ₹10 lakh a month. This disparity in rental prices highlights the unique nature of Hrithik's arrangement, emphasizing that sometimes love takes precedence over business.

In 2020, Hrithik Roshan purchased these three floors for ₹97.5 crore, which spans a whopping 12,000 sq ft. This acquisition has made him one of the prominent figures in the luxury real estate sector in Mumbai. Moreover, in May, he and his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, sold three apartments in Andheri for a combined total of ₹6.75 crore, further showcasing their active involvement in the property market.

In these transactions, Rakesh Roshan sold a 1,025 sq ft flat for ₹3.75 crore, along with two parking spaces, and two additional apartments, emphasizing the Roshan family's significant presence in property dealings. Additionally, their business, HRX Digitech, made headlines with a recent purchase of office units worth ₹31 crore in the Boomerang building, which signifies their expanding real estate portfolio.

As interest in Hrithik Roshan surged on Google India between August 26 and 27, this latest move not only underscores his real estate acumen but also reflects the interplay between personal relationships and property dealings in Mumbai’s elite circles. Whether this trend will influence future real estate decisions remains to be seen, but for now, Hrithik's lease to Saba has certainly captured the city's attention.
