Agastya Nanda's film 'Ikkis' has recently shown signs of improvement at the box office after experiencing a decline in its earnings. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and narrates the inspiring tale of Arun Khetarpal, a young soldier who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
In its initial days, 'Ikkis' struggled to attract audiences, earning ₹7 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹3.5 crore, ₹4.65 crore, and ₹5 crore on subsequent days. However, on day six, the film collected nearly ₹2 crore, bringing its total earnings to ₹23 crore in India. The film had an occupancy rate of 13.18% on Tuesday, showcasing a growing interest among viewers.

The film also features prominent actors like Dharmendra, Simar Bhatia, Vivaan Shah, Sikandar Kher, and Jaideep Ahlawat in significant roles, adding depth to the narrative.
Amitabh Bachchan, Agastya's grandfather, has publicly praised his performance, expressing pride and joy in his blog.
