Inflation Drops to 2.05%: What You Need to Know

Wholesale price inflation in India has decreased to 2.05% in March, down from 2.38% in February. According to the government, this change is mainly due to lower prices in food products, electricity, and textiles. Food inflation dropped significantly to 1.57%, with vegetable prices falling by 15.88%, compared to a much smaller drop in February. On the other hand, inflation for manufactured goods rose to 3.07%, and fuel and power prices also saw a slight increase.
