In the world of Bollywood, the shadows of famous parents can often loom large. Junaid Khan, son of the legendary actor Aamir Khan, has made a bold decision to stop discussing his film scripts with his father. This choice stems from his experience with the film 'Ek Din,' which did not fare well critically and commercially.

Junaid revealed that director Siddharth P Malhotra had approached him about acquiring the rights to the Thai film 'One Day' before they started working on another project called 'Maharaj.' At that time, the script for 'One Day' was still in development. Junaid expressed his excitement about the project, indicating his passion for storytelling.

However, when Siddharth later shared the script of 'Ek Din,' Junaid was initially intrigued. The film featured both Junaid and the talented Sai Pallavi in lead roles and was backed by Aamir Khan Productions. Despite the promising start and a strong cast, 'Ek Din' opened to mixed to negative reviews and only managed to collect around ₹5 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.

This experience has led Junaid to reevaluate his approach to filmmaking and the involvement of his father in his creative process. He recognizes the pressure that comes with being Aamir Khan's son and wants to carve his own path in the industry. By choosing not to share scripts with Aamir, he aims to assert his independence and develop his unique voice as an actor and filmmaker.

Junaid's story highlights the challenges that young actors face in the film industry, especially when they come from illustrious backgrounds. It serves as a reminder that every artist must find their own way, regardless of familial connections. As he progresses in his career, fans will be eager to see how Junaid navigates the complexities of Bollywood while staying true to himself.
