Amit Jani, the producer of "Kala Hiran," has come forward to defend his film amidst legal controversies involving Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The film’s premise is centered on the Bishnoi community, a group known for their deep reverence for wildlife and nature. Jani emphasizes that the movie is not a biopic of Salman Khan, as some have suggested, but rather an exploration of the struggles faced by the Bishnoi people and their cultural heritage.

In a recent interview with India Today, Jani expressed his concerns regarding the legal notice sent by Salman Khan’s legal team. He pointed out that this notice was issued after they had only seen the film’s poster, which does not accurately represent the film's content or intentions. "Only the poster has been released. The teaser is yet to come. Sending a legal notice at this stage, without any discussion, was unnecessary," he stated, highlighting the premature nature of the legal action.

Salman Khan’s legal team claims that the film could interfere with ongoing judicial proceedings related to the blackbuck case, which is still pending in the Rajasthan High Court. They argue that the film may violate Salman’s personality rights. However, Jani insists that the film does not portray Salman Khan in a negative light and does not intend to glorify any controversial figures, including Lawrence Bishnoi.

The producer aims to shed light on the Bishnoi community’s beliefs and history, which is often overlooked in mainstream narratives. This film seeks to give a voice to those who are deeply connected to nature and wildlife, celebrating their traditions and struggles. As the controversy unfolds, Jani remains committed to showcasing the full story of the Bishnoi community, which he believes deserves to be told.

As "Kala Hiran" prepares for its release, it is essential for audiences to approach the film with an open mind, understanding that it aims to celebrate a rich cultural heritage rather than focus on celebrity controversies. The true essence of the film lies in its portrayal of a community that has long been involved in the conservation of wildlife and has a unique relationship with nature.
