In a recent interview with HT City, Ashoke Pandit weighed in on the growing controversy following Kangana Ranaut’s comments regarding the non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh in relation to the film Don 3. Pandit emphasized that many individuals within the industry are misunderstanding the issue, often reacting based on headlines rather than the actual situation at hand.

During the trailer launch of her upcoming film, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, Kangana was asked about the directive and drew parallels with her own experiences in Bollywood. She suggested that opposition is a common occurrence when one achieves success, implying that such controversies are part of the entertainment industry’s landscape.

The controversy stems from Ranveer Singh’s reported exit from Don 3, which is the latest installment of the beloved franchise produced by Excel Entertainment. According to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), producer-director Farhan Akhtar approached them with a complaint about Singh's departure, citing significant financial losses after considerable pre-production work was already completed.

In light of this complaint, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh. However, Pandit clarified that the federation has not banned the actor, but rather aims to address a larger issue surrounding professional commitments and accountability in the film industry. This clarification is crucial, as it highlights the federation's intention to maintain standards and ensure that commitments are honored within the industry.

This incident sheds light on the intricate dynamics of Bollywood, where success often invites scrutiny and opposition. It underscores the need for clear communication and understanding among industry members to prevent misunderstandings and misinterpretations. As the debate continues, it remains to be seen how the federation and the involved parties will navigate this complex situation moving forward.
