13 Jan, 2026

Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana are capturing hearts once again with their signature humor. The duo recently celebrated the overwhelming success of Ayushmann's new film "Thamma," which has impressively crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. To mark this achievement, Aparshakti shared a light-hearted video on Instagram that features a playful and spooky twist.

In the entertaining video, Aparshakti is seen sitting next to Ayushmann and begins to sing his popular song "Chitti" from the film Stree 2. However, the fun takes a surprising turn when Aparshakti realizes that Ayushmann is also part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). His reaction is priceless as he exclaims, “Bhaiyaa, aap bhi? Welcome to the universe!” In a humorous gesture, he pretends to bow down to touch his brother’s feet.

Ayushmann, fully engaging in the banter, blesses Aparshakti with a witty remark, “Ayushmann bhavah,” to which Aparshakti cleverly responds, “Even the audience is saying that, that’s why the film has crossed ₹100 crore!” This playful exchange ends with both brothers sharing a laugh, celebrating their joint success and the film's milestone achievement.

Aparshakti’s caption for the video humorously reflects on the film's spooky theme, stating, “Hum toh soche ki Bicky ki girlfriend hi bhootiya hai… Yahan toh humaara apna bhai bhi bhootiya nikla!” which translates to a lighthearted acknowledgment of the film's ghostly elements. He expresses gratitude for the love and support received from fans for the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, hoping they enjoyed a “Thammakedaar” experience while watching the film.

Thamma marks a significant entry for Ayushmann into the MHCU, where he plays Alok, a journalist who becomes a vampire. Meanwhile, Aparshakti has already established his character, Bittu, in Stree and Stree 2. With both brothers now officially part of the same cinematic universe, fans are eagerly anticipating their on-screen collaboration in future projects, adding to the excitement surrounding this expanding horror-comedy universe that includes popular titles like Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya.
