PM-Kisan 22nd Installment 2026: Rs. 2,000 Payment Coming on March 13 – Check Status & Beneficiary List
The wait is finally over for crores of farmers across India. The PM-Kisan 22nd installment date is officially confirmed as March 13, 2026. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will digitally release approximately Rs. 19,000 crore to 9.32 crore eligible farmers from Guwahati, Assam. The transfer will happen through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, directly into Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
What is PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
Launched in February 2019, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme provides income support to small and marginal farmer families. Under the scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs. 6,000 per year in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each, released every four months. Since launch, the scheme has disbursed a total of Rs. 4.09 lakh crore as of the 21st installment, making it one of India's largest direct income support programmes.
Why the 22nd Installment Matters
This installment is releasing just ahead of the kharif sowing season. The funds are expected to help farmers purchase essential agricultural inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, giving them a financial head start before the crop cycle begins.

How to Check PM-Kisan 22nd Installment Status
Step 1: Visit pmkisan.gov.in Step 2: Go to the "Farmers Corner" section Step 3: Click on "Know Your Status" Step 4: Enter your Registration Number, Aadhaar Number, or Mobile Number Step 5: Fill in the CAPTCHA and click "Get Data"
Your complete payment history, last credit date, and pending status will be displayed on screen.
How to Check Beneficiary List
Step 1: Go to pmkisan.gov.in Step 2: Click on "Beneficiary List" under Farmers Corner Step 3: Select State → District → Sub-District → Block → Village Step 4: Click "Get Report" to view all eligible farmers in your area
eKYC is Mandatory – Don't Miss Your Payment
Farmers who have not completed eKYC will not receive the installment even if otherwise eligible. Complete eKYC via OTP on pmkisan.gov.in or through biometric verification at the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC). Also ensure your Aadhaar is linked to your registered bank account before March 13.
