Raashii Khanna Signs Ustaad Bhagat Singh for Pawan Kalyan

When asked about her decision to join Ustaad Bhagat Singh after her recent project Telusu Kada, Raashii stated, “This is the only film I signed without hearing the script. I said okay because it’s Pawan garu's film.” She expressed her long-standing desire to work with Pawan, acknowledging the immense stardom he commands in the industry.
As she stepped onto the set, Raashii quickly realized why Pawan is regarded as a superstar. She described his personality as ‘larger than life,’ highlighting his respectful attitude towards women and the love he shows to everyone around him. Her admiration for him grew as she witnessed his exceptional acting skills, particularly his comic timing, which she found impressive. Raashii candidly admitted, “It’s the first time I was starstruck on a set.”
In addition to her role in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Raashii has a plethora of diverse characters lined up in her career. She will portray a Marwari-Rajasthani woman in 120 Bahadur alongside Farhan Akhtar, a Punjabi cop in an upcoming series, and a Bengali girl in Talaakhon Mein Ek with Vikrant Massey. Raashii is thrilled about the variety in her roles, demonstrating her range as an actress.
Moreover, she provided an update on her upcoming project Farzi Season 2 with Shahid Kapoor, mentioning that they plan to start shooting at the beginning of next year. However, she humorously shared that she is just as curious about the script as her fans are, as it hasn’t reached her yet.
