SEBI Seizes ₹53.67 Cr from Asmita Patel Trading School Over Illegal Advisory

SEBI has seized ₹53.67 crore from Asmita Patel Global School of Trading and five others for running unregistered investment advisory services under the guise of stock market education. The regulator is also considering seizing ₹104.6 crore collected as course fees. The school allegedly lured participants into trading specific stocks and provided buy/sell recommendations through Telegram channels. Payments were routed through multiple entities. SEBI has barred them from accessing the securities market and ordered them to explain why the full amount shouldn't be recovered with interest.
