Vicky Kaushal, the popular Bollywood actor, recently attended a centenary event for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and expressed his admiration for its chief, Mohan Bhagwat. Speaking to reporters, he shared how hearing Bhagwat speak left a lasting impression on him. Kaushal stated, “It was wonderful that the RSS journey has completed 100 years. For the first time, I got to hear Mohan ji speak in person, and I was deeply impressed.”

He emphasized the practicality and sensibility of Bhagwat's remarks, saying they were insightful and engaging. This experience of listening to Bhagwat live was new for him, and he felt it was significant. “I wish them all the best for their journey in the future,” he added, congratulating the RSS on its long-standing presence in India.

During the event, Bhagwat addressed various social issues, urging attendees to remain vigilant about the country's challenges. He spoke about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, which has started revealing the presence of non-citizens living in India. Bhagwat highlighted the government's responsibility to address infiltration by detecting and deporting individuals who do not belong to the country.

He pointed out that until now, there was not enough action being taken in this regard, but progress has begun. Bhagwat stated, “When the census or the SIR is conducted, many people come to light who are not citizens of this country; they are automatically excluded from the process.” His remarks touched on the importance of national security and the need for a thorough approach to identify and manage the situation.

Overall, the event showcased a blend of cultural celebration and serious discussion about India's future. Vicky Kaushal's praise for Mohan Bhagwat adds a layer of celebrity endorsement to the RSS's centenary, drawing attention to both the organization's historical significance and the ongoing debates around citizenship and social responsibility in India.
