Wipro Limited, one of India's leading IT services and consulting companies, reported its financial results for Q4 FY26 on April 16, 2026. The company's gross revenue grew 7.7% year-on-year to ₹242.4 billion ($2,583 million), while IT services segment revenue reached $2,651 million — an increase of 0.6% quarter-on-quarter and 2.1% year-on-year.

The headline highlight of the results was the exceptional performance in large deal bookings. Total deal bookings stood at $3,455 million — up 3.2% QoQ in constant currency — while large deal bookings, a key indicator of future revenue momentum, surged 65.1% quarter-on-quarter to $1,440 million. For the full year FY26, total bookings reached $16,449 million, compared to $14,315 million in FY25, reflecting strong business development momentum.

Operating margins for Q4 FY26 were 17.3% for the IT services segment, a slight contraction of 0.2% year-on-year, attributed in part to wage increases and investments in AI capabilities. However, for the full year FY26, operating margins improved by 0.2% to 17.2%.

A particularly significant announcement alongside the results was the board's approval of a share buyback programme worth ₹150 billion (approximately ₹15,000 crore). Operating cash flow for Q4 FY26 was 90.1% of net income, and for the full year it was an impressive 112.6% of net income — demonstrating strong capital generation. The buyback signals management's confidence in the company's future and its commitment to returning capital to shareholders.
