Air India Becomes First Indian Airline to Get DGCA Approval for In-House Aircraft Interior Upgrades

Air India has achieved a groundbreaking milestone as the first Indian airline to secure Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) under CAR 21 regulations.

This certification empowers Air India to independently carry out interior design changes and modifications across its fleet, significantly enhancing its ability to streamline and modernize its services. In collaboration with Tata Technologies, Air India aims to improve passenger comfort, cut maintenance time, and ensure fleet readiness
