Airlines Suspend Flights to Israel Due To Rising Tensions

Numerous global airlines, including United Airlines, Delta, British Airways, and Lufthansa, have halted flights to Israel due to escalating regional tensions. Delta suspended flights until August 2, while United is monitoring the situation. Lufthansa and Swiss International canceled flights through August 8, diverting some to Cyprus and Bulgaria. Flights to Beirut are also affected. Despite the turmoil, Israel's Civil Aviation Authority claims air travel remains safe, citing 70,000 passengers on 60 airlines on August 1. Safety concerns remain a priority for all airlines involved.
