The Hindi film industry is abuzz with excitement over the release of the film Dhurandhar, particularly due to Ranveer Singh's stellar performance. However, amidst all the praise, Alia Bhatt has notably chosen to remain silent regarding the movie. Fans are surprised by her lack of commentary, especially considering her close friendship with Ranveer and their successful collaborations in films like Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

While Alia has yet to post anything about Dhurandhar, she did recently share her thoughts on Ranveer during an interview with Vogue. Reflecting on various phases of her life, she came across a photo from Gully Boy’s premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Alia expressed her admiration for Ranveer’s performance, stating, “That evening was the premiere, and Gully Boy got a lot of love.” She emphasized his outstanding portrayal of the title character, the Gully Boy, and praised the film’s music, saying it still has a solid vibe.

The bond between Alia and Ranveer has always been strong. Their friendship was highlighted during their appearance on Koffee with Karan, where Karan Johar pointed out their connection. Alia even shared the news of her engagement to Ranbir Kapoor with Ranveer before announcing it publicly, showcasing the trust and camaraderie they share.

Adding another layer to their friendship, Ranveer’s wife, Deepika Padukone, and Alia’s husband, Ranbir Kapoor, have a history of their own. Ranbir and Deepika dated for several years before their public breakup, which involved some drama, including implications of infidelity. However, both have since moved on and have collaborated on films together, indicating that their past issues have been resolved.

Currently, Ranveer is eagerly awaiting the release of the sequel to Dhurandhar, slated for March. Additionally, he is set to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, with shooting expected to begin next year. Meanwhile, Alia is looking forward to her upcoming project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, titled Love and War, which also features Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. As the industry continues to buzz about Dhurandhar, many are left wondering when Alia will break her silence and share her thoughts on this much-anticipated film.
