Amazon Data Services Pvt Ltd has purchased a 38-acre land parcel in Ambernath near Mumbai from Lodha Group (Macrotech Developers) for ₹450 crore.
The deal, registered on November 12, 2024, involved a ₹27 crore stamp duty payment. The land is located near Lodha's Palava City, a 4,500-acre project expected to generate ₹8,000 crore in annual revenue. Amazon's investment aligns with its plan to invest $12.7 billion in India’s cloud infrastructure by 2030. This marks another major step in Amazon's commitment to India's AI and digital transformation.
