Amazon CEO Andy Jassy announced that starting January 2, 2025, employees will be required to work from the office five days a week.
This shift marks a return to pre-COVID office routines after the company had adopted a hybrid work model of three days in the office. Jassy highlighted that being in the office fosters better collaboration, learning, and connection among teams. While remote work exceptions may still be granted under specific circumstances, the default expectation will be for employees to work on-site unless approved otherwise by senior leadership.
