Apple Partners with CleanMax for Solar Projects in India

Apple has joined forces with CleanMax to establish six rooftop solar projects in India, totaling 14.4 megawatts in capacity. These solar installations will power Appleā€™s corporate offices in India as well as two newly-opened retail stores in Mumbai and New Delhi. The move aligns with Apple's commitment to expand its clean energy sources, having achieved 100 percent clean energy for its global corporate operations back in 2018. With over 18 gigawatts of clean electricity now fueling Apple's global operations and manufacturing supply chain, the company continues its environmental initiatives, aiming to replenish 100 percent of the fresh water used in corporate operations, particularly in high-stress locations.
