Apple's India Business Soars Past ₹2 Lakh Crore in FY24, Fueled by iPhone Production Surge

Apple's India operations saw explosive growth in FY24, surpassing ₹2 lakh crore, up from ₹1.15 lakh crore the previous year. This leap is credited to increased iPhone production, driven by the company's strategic shift of its supply chain from China and the government's 2020 Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Apple's move to manufacture iPhones in India through Foxconn, Wistron, and Pegatron has positioned it as the country's largest global value chain, marking the fastest manufacturing growth in 50 years.
