Ayodhya is on the brink of a monumental occasion as preparations intensify for the grand flag-hoisting ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on November 25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hoist the saffron flag, marking a pivotal moment in the temple's history. The entire city is undergoing a transformation, adorned with nearly 100 tonnes of flowers, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

A temple priest mentioned that the preparations for the Dharm Dhwaj ceremony are in full swing, emphasizing the significance of flowers, which hold a special place in the heart of Lord Ram. Marigolds, known for their bright color, have been prominently used, particularly for honoring Lord Ganesh and Lord Ram. The dedication of the workers involved in the decoration is commendable, as they feel privileged to contribute to this historic event.

One worker expressed, "The Ram Mandir is being beautifully decorated, and the construction is complete. This is the time for the Dhwaj ceremony." The sense of pride and excitement among the workers is palpable, as they have been working tirelessly day and night to ensure the temple looks stunning for the occasion.

The Chief Minister's office has highlighted that the ceremony is expected to draw a significant number of domestic and international visitors, which will boost various sectors such as hospitality, travel, and local crafts. This influx is likely to generate substantial business, with many artisans showcasing their products like jaggery and other ODOP-linked items.

On this auspicious day, the hoisting of the flag will not only signify the completion of the temple's main construction but also serves as a reminder of Ayodhya's rich heritage. The flag to be hoisted carries symbols like Om, the Sun, and the Kovidara tree, each representing a deep cultural significance. The Kovidara tree, a hybrid of the Mandar and Parijat trees, symbolizes ancient plant hybridization.

In preparation for the influx of devotees, a large-scale cleanliness drive has been initiated across Ayodhya. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to welcoming visitors with open arms, ensuring that Ayodhya shines brightly as it steps into this historic moment.

As the city of Ayodhya transforms into a floral wonderland, the anticipation for the flag-hoisting ceremony grows. This event is not just a celebration of faith but a significant milestone in the journey of Ayodhya, making it a moment to cherish for generations to come.
