In a significant turn of events, the Uttar Pradesh Police have apprehended Nadeem, a crucial figure behind the recent violence in Bareilly. Arrested in Shahjahanpur, Nadeem is known to be a close aide of Tauqeer Raza Khan, a local cleric and the head of the Ittehad-e-Millat Council. The police had been actively searching for him since the violence broke out, and he had been on the run following the clashes.
According to police reports, Nadeem was using a WhatsApp group to mobilize crowds for protests, directly instigating the unrest.
