Bengaluru House Rentals Surge 30%, Leading All Metro Cities

In 2023, Bengaluru witnessed the highest surge in house rents among metros, surpassing Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune, as per reports.

Notably, Bengaluru's key areas saw over a 30% increase, with 7% of landlords in Bengaluru and Mumbai raising rents by over 30%. Around 52% of surveyed Bengaluru landlords depend entirely on rental income.

Specific locations like Whitefield and Sarjapur experienced significant hikes, with a 31% rise for 2BHK flats in Whitefield. Experts foresee a potential stabilization in rental values in the coming quarter before a likely uptick in early 2024.
