Byju's Faces $1.2 Billion Repayment Demand from US Lenders

Byju's parent company, Think & Learn, is under pressure from US lenders to repay $1.2 billion plus interest. The lenders claim that Byju’s has not made any payments for over 17 months.

Byju’s founder, Byju Raveendran, has argued that the firm may not need to repay due to the lenders' behavior, but the lenders insist this is false. The company is facing internal issues, including the resignation of key personnel and auditors, with concerns surrounding $500 million of missing funds. The situation is under legal review, with court hearings pending.
