
CDSL Profit Dips: Earnings Report Analysis
Central Depository Services (India) Ltd (CDSL) faced a setback as its quarterly profits fell by 23.6% to Rs 102.4 crore, disappointing investors. While revenue from operations slightly increased to Rs 259 crore, the firm's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) dropped by 15.1%. CDSL's revenue from Depository Services rose, but other segments like Data Entry saw a decline. Analysts at Motilal Oswal maintain a 'neutral' rating, citing ongoing investments in technology and human resources, and foresee modest growth in the coming years.
