Central Govt Pensioners to Receive Extra Pension After Turning 80: Key Details Inside
Central government pensioners will now receive an additional pension starting from the first day of the month in which they turn 80.
According to a recent notification, those aged 80 will get a 20% increase in their basic pension or compassionate allowance. The increase continues with age: 30% for those 85 to under 90, 40% for those 90 to under 95, and so on, reaching a full 100% for pensioners aged 100 and above.
