Dhurandhar Box Office: Breaks Records in India
Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, has emerged as a significant player in the Indian box office landscape. As of day 13, the film is nearing the impressive ₹450 crore mark, surpassing the lifetime earnings of previous champions like Baahubali and KGF 2. This achievement marks a remarkable feat for a film released in 2025.
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar collected ₹25.50 crore net on its 13th day, showing a drop of approximately 16.39% from the previous day’s earnings of ₹30.5 crore. Despite this dip, the film's total earnings now stand at ₹437.25 crore net in India, showcasing its sustained popularity among audiences.
The film has captured the hearts of viewers, especially in metropolitan areas. On its 13th day, Dhurandhar recorded a total occupancy rate of 35.28%. The initial screenings showed a modest 19.48% occupancy, which improved significantly to 45.14% during the night shows. This pattern indicates that word-of-mouth is driving more audiences to theaters as the days progress.
In terms of screenings, the Delhi NCR region leads with 1,501 shows, followed closely by Mumbai with 1,135. Other cities like Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad have also contributed significantly to its box office success. The film’s spy thriller genre seems to have resonated well with the audience, keeping them engaged throughout its run.
Dhurandhar opened strongly with ₹28 crore on its first day and continued to grow over its opening weekend, culminating in a total of ₹43 crore by the first Sunday. Although there was a sharp decline in earnings on the first Monday due to weekday work commitments, the film regained momentum thereafter, recording impressive earnings in its second week.
The second weekend saw a surge in revenue, with day 9 achieving ₹53 crore and day 10 reaching ₹58 crore. Though collections dipped again on Monday, the film managed to maintain its audience appeal and is well-positioned to cross the ₹450 crore mark soon.
Internationally, Dhurandhar has grossed ₹634 crore, with ₹140 crore coming from overseas markets. The Indian gross collection stands at ₹494 crore. Following the film's success, the makers have already announced plans for Dhurandhar 2, set to release in 2026, which has fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
