Anurag Singh, an investment expert, explains that Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) are the main reason behind the recent market pullback, not Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs).
While FIIs sold shares worth ₹12,900 crore in October, DIIs bought ₹22,000 crore in the same period. This strong buying from DIIs helped keep the market steady despite FIIs withdrawing funds. Singh highlights that DIIs' interest in large-cap stocks is a key factor, as they focus on companies with strong fundamentals.
