Diwali Break: Stock Markets BSE, NSE Closed Today

On Diwali Balipratipada, today, November 14, 2023, Indian stock markets, including BSE and NSE, will remain closed. This holiday includes a halt in equity, equity derivatives, SLB, currency derivatives, and interest rate derivatives trading.

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will be closed in the first half, resuming in the evening. Balipratipada marks Lord Vishnu's victory over demon-king Bali.

The closure, first in November, aligns with another holiday on November 27 for Gurunanak Jayanti. Experts express positivity for Samvat 2080 due to India's resilient economy, promising growth, and recommended stocks for potential gains.
