Dixon Shares Surge 5% After JV with Vivo, Revenue Grows 133%

Dixon Technologies' shares soared 5% to ₹18,321.15 after announcing a joint venture with Vivo, where Dixon will hold a 51% stake. The partnership will manufacture phones for Vivo and other brands. Dixon, which already produces devices for Samsung, Xiaomi, and Motorola, saw its revenue grow 133% YoY to ₹11,528 crore in Q2 FY24, with mobile division revenue rising 235%. Vivo's ₹3,000 crore Greater Noida plant can produce 120M smartphones annually. Dixon is also expanding into displays and IT hardware for global brands like HP and Lenovo.
