ED Seizes ₹5,115 Crore Assets in Amtek Group Loan Fraud Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized farmhouses, industrial lands, shares, and debentures worth ₹5,115 crore in a bank loan fraud case involving Amtek Group.

Promoter Arvind Dham was arrested in July after the ED's investigation revealed the group's manipulation of financial statements, use of over 500 shell companies, and diversion of funds, leading to a ₹27,000 crore bank fraud. Assets attached include 85 properties across 13 states and shares in companies like Barista Coffee and B S Ispat. The case is linked to a CBI FIR filed by IDBI Bank and Bank of Maharashtra.
