ED Summons Amazon, Flipkart Executives for FDI Violations After Raids

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is set to summon top executives from Amazon and Flipkart over alleged violations of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) laws.

This move follows recent raids on offices linked to sellers of the e-commerce giants in cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, and Hyderabad. Documents seized in these searches reportedly support the ED's investigation into potential FDI rule breaches under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
