Elon Musk faces a major legal setback as a U.S. judge allowed former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal’s lawsuit for severance pay to proceed.
Agrawal, along with ex-executives Vijaya Gadde, Ned Segal, and Sean Edgett, claims Musk fired them immediately after acquiring Twitter (now X Corp) in 2022 to avoid paying their severance and stock compensation. Musk, who acquired Twitter for $44 billion, is already battling other lawsuits for unpaid wages, including one by ex-employee Nicholas Caldwell, who seeks $20 million in lost severance.
