Foreign Investors Pour ₹32,779 Crore into Indian Equities, Favor Financial Services

In the first half of September, foreign investors invested ₹32,779 crore in Indian equities across 17 sectors. Financial services attracted the most inflows, receiving ₹12,253 crore.

The healthcare sector followed with ₹3,652 crore, while consumer durables and FMCG sectors saw investments of ₹2,226 crore and ₹1,372 crore, respectively. Realty and capital goods also gained with ₹2,903 crore and ₹1,778 crore in foreign investments. However, the automobile sector faced the largest outflows, with investors pulling out ₹1,983 crore.
