Freshworks Cuts 660 Jobs, Realigns Focus on AI and Customer Experience

Dennis Woodside, CEO of Nasdaq-listed Freshworks, announced on November 7 a 13% workforce reduction, laying off around 660 employees from its over 5,000-strong workforce.

The SaaS company, aiming to streamline operations, has undergone multiple layoffs and management changes in 2024. Woodside explained that the decision supports a strategic shift toward enhancing employee experience (EX), AI, and customer experience (CX).
