Gavaskar Backs Bumrah for Asia Cup Success

Sunil Gavaskar, the legendary former Indian cricketer, has recently expressed his confidence in Jasprit Bumrah's ability to perform without any workload issues during the upcoming Asia Cup. This statement comes after Bumrah faced criticism for being rested during two Test matches on India's recent tour of England. Gavaskar reassured fans that the Asia Cup, played in T20 format, would not strain Bumrah as he would only need to bowl four overs at a time, and not all at once. "I don’t think there will be any problem for him to play this tournament," he mentioned during an interaction with the media. Additionally, Bumrah had a significant break of nearly 40 days between his last Test match in England and the start of the Asia Cup.
