Genus Power's shares jumped 5% on August 21, 2024, following the company’s announcement of winning a ₹3,608 crore contract. This new order includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 42.6 lakh smart prepaid meters.
With this win, Genus Power's order book has surged to ₹28,000 crore. Recently, on August 17, the company also secured orders worth ₹2,925.52 crore. Additionally, Genus Power's Q1 results showed impressive growth, with net profit more than doubling to ₹48.33 crore and revenue rising 58.61% to ₹414.15 crore.
